On June 14, 2022, ASCER held in Valencia the awards ceremony of the XX edition of the Ceramic Awards for Architecture, Interior Design and PFC. Agnès Blanch -co-founding partner of the vilablanch studio- was in charge of collecting the award on behalf of the entire team. An award granted to the project "Habitar un Coderch", within the category of Interior Design, for "being a rigorous interior design exercise with a very respectful treatment of the spirit of José Antonio Coderch's architecture, finding permanence as a common denominator. It stands out the successful selection of materials and the careful execution of the work."

The winning project in the category of Architecture was for the "New Headquarters of the Construction Labor Foundation of the Valencian Community" by MRM architects (Miguel Alonso Flamarique, Roberto Erviti Machain, Mamen Escorihuela Vitales). The Final Degree Project that obtained the award was "Castilla La MaRcha. A resort for Motivated Spain" by Gonzalo López Elorriaga (ETSAM).

The awards were announced last November in Castellón, and the jury was made up of Carlos Ferrater (OAB Arquitectes), Fermín Vázquez (b720 architects), Jaime Sanahuja (Sanahuja&partners), José Mª Marzo (Tectónica magazine), Alicia Fernández (Alicia Fernández Interiorismo) and Ángel Pitarch (president of the College of Architects of Castellón).

The purpose of the Ceramic Awards is to spread the use of Spanish ceramics in works of architecture and interior design (both within Spanish territory and outside our borders). The Ceramic Awards have a solid track record and are highly recognized among professionals in the field of architecture.
