Saturday 16th of March the vilablanch studio won the first prize in the category Private Housing Interior of the Archmarathon Selection 2019 thanks to the interior design project of Casa Burés in Barcelona.

During three days - March 13 to 15 - 28 studies from all around the world defended their projects in front of a prestigious jury formed by the architects Luca Molinari, Matteo Fantoni, Benedetta Tagliabue and Marzia Faranda. The award ceremony was held on Saturday 16th of March, at the same time as the MADE Expo exhibition in Milán. The ceremony awarded 14 international studies - 1 per category - in an edition that had  more than 400 proposals.

The jury handed the First Prize to the interior design project of Casa Burés "for the result of a clear understanding of the existing building, for the sensitive use of materials and for the ability to create spaces for contemporary life". This prize brings to our project a direct entrance to the shortlist of Archmarathon Awards 2020.
